No cutting, welding, or any modification needed to your machine for install. Simply bolt the supplied spline drive adapter to the stock steering shaft, affix a 5 or 6 bolt steering wheel of your choosing. This hub is designed to keep the UTV INC steering wheel in the stock location, so the wheel will not be closer or further away from you once installed. This hub will fit ALL models of the Can Am X3.  Includes all hardware needed for installation.
